Canon Extender EF 2x II

Today I received the Canon Extender EF 2X II in the mail. After reading many reviews and looking at sample images between the Mark ii and iii, I've decided it's not worth it to me to spend an extra $200 for the latest version. Image quality was better on the iii but not THAT much better to justify the additional cost.

First impressions, I thought the 2X Extender delivered pretty nice results. I was a little skeptical at first but after reviewing some images, I was very satisfied with the results. Tests were shot on the 70-200mm f/2.8 IS L II along with a 5D Mark III.

I'll be using this in the near future to hopefully do some bird shooting. Stay tuned! :)
